A smuggler out of Corellia with a hot-rodded freighter, a Wookiee co-pilot bound by a life debt, and a firm policy of looking out for number one, a policy he breaks every single time it counts. Han Solo took a charter job hauling two farm boys and an old man to Alderaan, and by week's end he was banking the Millennium Falcon into a trench run he swore he wanted no part of.
That is the whole man in one maneuver. He talks like a mercenary and flies like a believer: through asteroid fields the odds say kill him, into a carbonite freeze with a wisecrack, back out again to lead the strike that brings the second Death Star down. The galaxy's most reluctant hero, and one of its greatest.

Han Solo made Harrison Ford, and Ford made Han: the smirk, the holster slung low, and cinema's most famous ad-lib, answering "I love you" with "I know" because the scripted line felt wrong. George Lucas built him from pulp-serial rogues; Ford gave him the reluctant decency that turned an archetype into the measuring stick every charming scoundrel since has been held against.
Whether he shot first remains fandom's longest-running court case, and the fact that people still argue it says everything about how much the character matters.
IN SIXTH SCALE
Solo is a likeness benchmark: capturing a young Harrison Ford smirk in sixth scale is one of the hobby's famous hard problems, and Hot Toys has chased it across A New Hope, Bespin gear, and the older, sadder captain of the sequels on the Star Wars shelf. The DL-44 blaster and that navy-and-white Corellian bloodstripe kit are the recognition triggers.
