The Bad Box

Initially bought these 5 to put in my Clone Wars display, but they ended up making the shelf far too crowded. So instead I bought the smallest Moducase available to put them in their own display, which I will never do again. Mostly because I don't have the space, but also because I promised to never collect outside of what I can display in a neat & organized manner. Anyway, I love how the box turned out and think they look awesome together.

RubyMy office isn't big by any means, and I certainly have a ton of stuff in it, but it's all organized and displayed neatly. The second it isn't is when I know there's a problem. Our Vaults have the area where photos are displayed and I saw you can post a tour/upload a video of your collection. I've been meaning to do it and might just have to here soon.

Artisan Harley has finally arrived!

She’s perfect. 5 stars. I’m so happy with her I could cry. I loved BOP caution tape Harley, but this one gets the nod from me. Wanted to share my Suicide Squad as it’s my favorite team I’ve assembled. What the heck do I have to do to get a 1/6 Captain Boomerang?? The Squad doesn’t feel complete without him.

I Can Do This All Day. Apparently, So Can Hot Toys. 🇺🇸

Steve Rogers is back for Avengers: Doomsday and Hot Toys has somehow turned one returning super-soldier into four editions: MMS928 / MMS928B / MMS929 / MMS929B. The man asked for a quiet life. The timeline, the Avengers, and apparently the merchandising department all said "No, I dont think I will"...

doubdoubCompletely agree. And yet, Hot Toys is clearly capable of making some really great head sculpts. For me, the best Cap is still the Endgame one, and even that one is far from perfect.

Riddle Me This. How Much Shelf Space Is Left? ❓

Hot Toys has revealed The Riddler from Batman Forever — green suit, question marks, cane, and enough Jim Carrey energy to power Gotham without the grid.

RubyGoodness I'm having a tough time saying no to this one. No knock to Mars Toys, they make good stuff, but it was much easier to say no to that figure. This one is seriously tempting. But my bat shelf is full already!

The Baxter Building Has Two Lights On

Hot Toys’ Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are officially out in the world. Reed has finally stretched far enough to escape preorder status, Sue has arrived with the sort of timing that suggests she was probably there the whole time, and the Fantastic Four shelf can finally stop looking like a team meeting everyone forgot to attend. Two members home. Two chairs still empty.

The Hound Has Been Unleashed

Hot Toys’ Sergeant Hound has officially been released. The Coruscant Guard’s tracker arrives with Grizzer at his side, ready to follow footprints, scent trails, suspicious Jedi activity, and probably anyone who thought they could quietly escape the Archive unnoticed. The kennels are open. Coruscant has a scent.

Holy Artisan Batman!

Hot Toys has opened preorders for Black Widow and Tomorrow, both in Artisan Edition. Natasha arrives with rooted hair and the expression of someone who already knows what you’ve spent. Tomorrow comes straight out of Death Stranding 2 looking like Hideo Kojima personally approved the bankruptcy.

RubyPersonally not a fan of the AOU look, but still think this figure looks great. I already have the one widow I want for my collection, but if they made an artisan CA:WS Widow I'd be sorely tempted.

Hot Toys’ Aliens Power Loader is now live for preorder in two editions: Standard and Collector. One gives you Ripley. The other gives you the machine she uses to politely negotiate with xenomorph royalty. MMS923 / MMS924. Choose your level of industrial overkill.

“Everyone keeps telling me how my story is supposed to go.” — Spider-Man, No Way Home

And yes, another No Way Home Spider-Man has arrived. 🕷️ This time it’s the Final Swing Suit, in Deluxe Edition form, with a limited run of 3,500. At this point, Peter Parker may actually be reproducing by mitosis in the Hot Toys workshop. Still, it is a very nice suit

“I’m the best there is at what I do.” — Wolverine

Hot Toys has unsheathed Insomniac’s Wolverine. 🐺 The yellow suit has entered the Archive in Collector Edition and Deluxe Edition form, claws out and looking appropriately bad for everyone’s health. A good day for Wolverine fans. A less good day for display budgets.

Three More Marvels… and One Very Suspicious Cheese 🧀

Hot Toys has just announced three more Marvel releases: Superior Iron Man, Peter Parker from Spider-Man 3, and Victor von Doom from Avengers: Doomsday. The first two are straightforward enough. The third, however, is wearing a different costume, going by Victor von Doom rather than Doctor Doom, and apparently even has a different build from the Doom already announced. Nothing to see here, obviously. Absolutely ordinary cheese. Extremely suspicious cheese.

So You Have Chosen… Preorder 🧙‍♂️

INART’s Saruman has entered the Archive, and he is looking spectacularly unimpressed with everyone. $599, expected Q4 2027. White robes, staff, Christopher Lee glare included. Treachery against Middle-earth sold separately.

The Lord of the RingsThe Lord of the RingsInArtAG-A041 SarumanSaruman

RubyThe only Asmus LotR figure I have that I've been genuinely disappointed in was Galadriel, but I wanted her represented in the collection and paid less than $200 for her. Can't complain too much. Saruman being part of the Crown Series has me confident the quality will be great. Their Crown Gandalf the Grey might be my favorite figure. I have no doubts the InArt will look better by comparison and I commend anyone committed to collecting their full LotR line, but for me, I don't think the quality is significant enough to justify that much of a price difference. I know I'll be happy with what I get and I'm sure anyone who gets InArt's Saruman will also be happy.

A New Amazon Has Entered the Keep

JND’s Wonder Woman is now live for preorder at $1,099. This one sits in that strange borderland between figure and statue, but the Archive has made room. Some movement, swappable elements, rolling eyes, and enough realism to make the rest of the shelf quietly reconsider its life choices. Themyscira has opened the gates. Your treasury may not survive the crossing.
