WHAT A FIGURE'S RECORD HOLDS

A spreadsheet row says you own a Batman. A record says which one: the reference code, the edition, the year it shipped, what you paid, what it is worth to the market and to you. The archive supplies the facts; you supply the story.

Three states carry the whole hobby. OWNED is the shelf. ORDERED is the long wait between deposit and doorstep that sixth-scale collectors know too well. WISHLIST is the hunt. Move a figure between them with one tap, and your totals, charts and counts follow along.

Then the extras that make it yours: condition from MINT IN BOX to DISPLAYED to POSED, number of copies, a GRAIL mark for the one that matters, custom shelves to group them, star ratings, and your own photographs hanging beside the official plates.

BUILT FOR SIXTH-SCALE, SPECIFICALLY

General collection apps treat a figure like a barcode. Sixth-scale does not work that way: the same character ships as Standard, Deluxe and convention exclusive, third-party makers release him under a coded name, and a preorder can take two years to arrive. Generic trackers file that chaos as six unrelated things, or worse, one wrong thing.

Kollectorium's archive is normalized by hand under one published standard: one record per release, editions and variants reconciled, real release dates, coded third-party names resolved to who the figure actually is. Your vault inherits all of that discipline for free. The method is written down in The Kollectorium Standard, spells and all.

And when you want numbers, the charts are already drawn: your collection broken down by maker, franchise and year, growth over time, totals paid against current values, shown in the currency you actually think in.

Every vault starts locked. Nobody sees your collection, your prices or your wishlist until you decide otherwise. One toggle cycles the three states, and these are its actual faces:

Handcrafted from solid gold, the Founders Key is exceptionally beautiful and completely unsuitable for its intended purpose. Most warp within weeks and none have successfully opened a vault in recorded history. "Tradition is tradition."

CONCERNING THE KEY MAKER

Somewhere in the lower Archive, a figure known only as The Key Maker produces a new key every year from whatever material is at hand. No one commissioned them. Nobody can find him to tell him to stop. The keys are structurally unsound, the materials are impractical, and the output is, by any reasonable measure, excessive. And yet they arrive. Like clockwork. Patrons who support the Archive each year receive that year's key. What The Key Maker gets out of this arrangement is unclear. The Archive prefers not to ask.

Is there a free sixth-scale figure collection tracker?

Yes — Kollectorium is one, and free means free. A free account opens the whole Vault: unlimited figures, every status, values, photos, charts and analytics. There is no card on file, no trial clock and no premium shelf where the good tools are kept. Only the Bazaar, the peer-to-peer marketplace, wears a beta ribbon.

Can I track Hot Toys and InArt figures together?

Yes, in one vault. The archive catalogues Hot Toys, InArt, Sideshow, Threezero, Queen Studios and over 180 other makers side by side under one standard, so a mixed-maker collection lives on one set of shelves with one set of charts — no separate apps per brand, and third-party makers sit next to the licensed houses.

What is the best way to track a sixth-scale figure collection?

Track against a reference database rather than typing entries yourself. Sixth-scale releases have reference codes, editions, variants and multi-year preorders that free-typed spreadsheets scatter into mismatched rows. In Kollectorium you find the exact release in the archive, tap it, and the code, edition, year and MSRP arrive pre-filled — you add only what is yours: price paid, condition, photos, shelf.

Can other people see my collection?

Only if you say so. Every vault starts locked. You can keep it that way forever, show just your wishlist, or open it fully and share your collector page. The setting is one toggle, and it is yours.

How is this better than my spreadsheet?

The spreadsheet makes you do the cataloguing. Here you search the archive, tap your figure, and its reference code, edition, release year, MSRP and photography arrive already filled in and normalized, so "MMS432", "Tactical Batsuit" and "that Justice League Batman" are one record, not three rows that never match. And when you are ready to move in, the Vault imports your CSV.

Can I track preorders and wishlists?

That is half the hobby, so yes: ORDERED holds a figure through the long months between deposit and doorstep, WISHLIST keeps the hunt list, and OWNED is the good day. Arrival windows come from the archive itself, including figures that have not shipped yet.

What if a figure is missing from the archive?

Tell the Archivist from inside the app. Submissions go through the same review every figure gets, the entry is catalogued properly once, and then it is there for you and for every collector after you.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, by the Keep's proudest piece of magical engineering: the whole Vault miniaturizes to fit in a pocket, shelves, ledgers and charts included. Making big things small is the house specialty, after all. In practice that means the entire site is built for phones, and there is a free Android app on Google Play.
