THE LEGEND
John J. Rambo came home from Vietnam with a Medal of Honor, a Green Beret's skill set, and no country left that wanted him. A small-town sheriff moved him along one time too many, and one man dismantled an entire manhunt with a knife, the woods, and training that never switched off. They drew first blood. Everything after was arithmetic.
He is the reluctant weapon: a man who wants peace and keeps being handed a war, from Southeast Asian jungles to Afghan mountains to a Burmese river. Give him a bow, an M60 or a workbench full of scrap and he will end whatever was sent after him. The tragedy is the part nobody films: he was a good soldier. He just never got to stop being one.

David Morrell's 1972 novel gave him life, but Sylvester Stallone's 1982 First Blood made him myth, and the first film is the one people forget: a somber PTSD drama where Rambo kills almost no one. The sequels traded the sorrow for a headband, a bow and a body count, and the silhouette became eighties shorthand for the one-man army.
"Rambo" entered dictionaries as a common noun, which almost no character in fiction achieves. Underneath the muscle, the first film's wound never healed, and the later entries kept returning to it: the war that follows the soldier home.
IN SIXTH SCALE
Rambo in sixth scale is a Stallone likeness study across four decades on the Rambo shelf: the drifter of First Blood, the jungle icon of Part II, the grizzled elder of the late films. Hot Toys took up the license with the survival knife, the compound bow and the M60 as the holy trinity of kit.
