The princess of Alderaan was a senator at nineteen and a spy long before that, running the Rebellion's most dangerous errands under diplomatic cover. When her capture finally came, she was carrying the stolen plans that would kill a battle station, and she watched her homeworld die rather than give up the base. The Empire mistook her for a hostage. She was the operation.
War revealed what the court gowns had hidden: a general. She strangled a crime lord with the chain he leashed her with, led the strike that brought down the second Death Star's shield, and when the First Order rose a generation later, the old guard's survivors gathered around the same voice. Daughter of the galaxy's most feared man, twin to its brightest pilot, she outfought the one and out-hoped the other, and the Rebellion's whole creed fits in the way she said a single word: hope.

Carrie Fisher was twenty when A New Hope made the cinnamon-bun silhouette one of cinema's permanent icons, and she spent the next forty years making sure the princess stayed the sharpest person in the scene. Leia rewired the damsel archetype in real time: she grabs the blaster, insults the rescue, and runs the escape. The Jabba's palace costume became its own decades-long cultural argument, which Fisher settled personally by pointing out who ended that scene holding the chain. Her later run as General Organa, and Fisher's death in 2016 midway through the sequel trilogy, turned The Rise of Skywalker's farewell into the audience's own. Novels, animation and Rogue One's closing shot keep confirming her status: the Rebellion has many heroes, but exactly one face of it.
IN SIXTH SCALE
Her sixth-scale history is a costume chronicle told almost entirely by Hot Toys: the senatorial whites of A New Hope, Bespin and Endor gear, the Boushh bounty-hunter disguise with its helmet reveal, through to the general of the sequel era. Collectors treat a Leia as a likeness benchmark, Fisher's face has humbled more than one sculptor, and the white-gown figures double as a soft-goods test, since the drape either flows or ruins the silhouette. She is the gravitational center of any Star Wars rebel shelf: park her between a Han and a Luke and the display finds its story by itself.
