KOLLECTORIUM
FROM THE KEEP · MONDAY 14 SEPTEMBER
“We can rebuild him. We have the technology.”
There has been an unusual amount of display-case discourse in collector circles lately. 👀
Moducase has been the familiar answer for a long time, but more brands and modular systems keep appearing, with different takes on lighting, dust protection, depth, panoramic viewing, expansion and, mercifully, price.
It feels like the display itself is becoming a proper part of the hobby rather than just the furniture figures happen to stand inside.
As collections get larger, heavier and considerably more ambitious, it will be interesting to see what the standard sixth-scale display actually looks like a few years from now.
P.S.1 new figure came into the Archive, from Toystay.
