The Registry is not authorized to pay anyone.
It does, however, have a rather strong opinion about paperwork. 🔐
VAULT WEEK, DAY FIVE: THE REGISTRY.
Some collections are worth a few hundred. Others quietly become worth enough that “I know what was on the shelf” is no longer much of a record.
So the Vault now keeps one.
THE REGISTRY gathers the things that tell the story of what you actually own: the exact copy, condition, where and when it was bought, what you paid, original price, receipts and your own photographs.
You can also take a photo through the Registry and have the Keep seal it into the record, dated and given its own verification code so that exact image can be checked later.
And if you ever need the whole collection outside the Keep, it can leave as a proper Kollectorium dossier or spreadsheet.
Attach an invoice once, beside what you paid in My Copy or on its Coffers record, and the Registry has it too. No second upload.
Open your Vault and choose THE REGISTRY, beside the Coffers. Start with the figure you would least like to explain to an insurer.
It does not sell insurance.
It does not decide what an insurer will accept.
It does not invent a value where the evidence is not there.
It simply makes sure that, if someone ever asks “what exactly was in your collection?”
you have a considerably better answer than trust me.
