“There’s no place like home.”
The Archivist’s Tower has been rebuilt. 🏰
It was always where the Keep kept its records, its odd little histories, and the people responsible for all of this.
Now it feels a little more like somewhere they might actually live.
The Beacon looks out across the Keep, with the sky changing overhead as the hours pass. Across the landing, the Study has a proper hearth, a few figures on the mantel, and a red chair that Moose appears to have claimed permanently.
The Tower keeps Keep Time now. Day becomes night. Weather crosses the window. Seasons leave small traces behind. Occasionally, something else does too.
The records are still there. The Daybook is still being written. The Keepers are still at their posts.
But the Tower has started keeping a little history of its own.
Some rooms are better discovered than explained. 🕯️
