KOLLECTORIUM
FROM THE KEEP · WEDNESDAY 21 OCTOBER
“When will then be now?”
“Soon.” — Spaceballs
The Archive has become slightly less tolerant of soon.
Figure records now keep a clearer account of time: when something was announced, what release window was originally promised, what the current expectation is, and, eventually, when it actually reached collectors.
The little Archive cards have learned a simpler trick too. They now tell you the release year without making you open the whole file.
And the Archivist has started keeping an eye on the makers themselves.
Over enough releases, the Archive can now see how long a maker has historically taken to get from announcement to release, and what their usual pace has looked
A rather large pile of dates beginning to develop opinions. 🔭
P.S.1 new figure came into the Archive, from EKUAZ STUDIO.
