The Archive understood this immediately.
Unfortunately, not every filing request is quite so straightforward.
A shelf can be narrowed by maker, franchise, series, release status and all the other sensible things we have taught it over the years.
But sometimes the question is simply:
Show me every Batman.
Or every figure bearing Keanu Reeves’ face.
Or every Vulcan the Archive has managed to acquire without provoking a diplomatic incident.
So three more drawers have been fitted to the Catalogue:
CHARACTER · ACTOR · SPECIES
They can be searched, combined with the rest of the Archive, and stacked together when your requirements become appropriately unreasonable.
The Archive now contains more than 5,500 records.
“I know roughly what I’m looking for” is no longer considered an adequate retrieval system. 📚
