THE LEGEND
He was born in San Francisco in the hour of the Dragon, raised in Hong Kong, and sent back across the ocean with a philosophy degree's worth of questions and a fighter's answers. What he built from Wing Chun, boxing, fencing and relentless first-principles thinking he refused to call a style at all: Jeet Kune Do, the way of the intercepting fist, a method whose first commandment was to have no fixed method. Be formless. Be shapeless. Be water.
The legend is not that he was fast, though the cameras had to slow him down. The legend is the completeness: the one-inch punch that dropped grown men, the two-finger push-ups, the training notebooks dense as philosophy texts, the absolute refusal to accept that anyone, of any nation, should be told what they could not learn. He died at thirty-two with five films finished. The films were enough. They are still enough.

Bruce Lee is the rare figure whose cultural impact outran his filmography while he was still alive and then lapped it after he was gone. The Big Boss, Fist of Fury and Way of the Dragon made him Asia's biggest star; Enter the Dragon, released six days after his death in 1973, made him the world's, and Hollywood spent the next decade trying to manufacture a successor rather than admit there wasn't one. He broke the industry's ceiling for Asian leading men by simply being undeniable, taught a generation that martial arts was a discipline of mind before body, and left fingerprints on everything from MMA (whose practitioners routinely name him a founding ancestor) to hip-hop to video game characters who are all, to some degree, him. Game of Death's yellow tracksuit may be the single most quoted costume in action cinema.
IN SIXTH SCALE
The sixth-scale record belongs overwhelmingly to Enterbay, whose master-grade Bruce Lee portraits across all five films are among the finest likenesses the hobby has ever produced: the studio built its reputation on getting this one face exactly right, from The Big Boss to the Game of Death tracksuit. Hot Toys adds its own Enter the Dragon tribute. He rules the Movies & TV wing as its most-depicted face, and collectors treat a good Lee portrait as the benchmark for realism itself: everyone alive knows exactly what he looked like, which makes every sculpt an examination with no partial credit.
