Some films and shows earn a whole franchise page. Others leave behind one unforgettable character and nothing else to collect. The Movies & TV shelf gathers those singular screen roles in one place: cult classics, westerns, martial arts films, crime dramas and television favourites, each represented in sixth scale by a figure or two.
Martial arts cinema is the shelf's backbone. [Bruce Lee](/character/bruce-lee) appears in Enter the Dragon, Way of the Dragon and Game of Death versions, with [Enterbay](/manufacturer/enterbay) the most devoted maker and [Hot Toys](/manufacturer/hot-toys) also taking a turn. Hong Kong film runs deeper still, from Wong Fei-hung in Once Upon a Time in China to A Chinese Ghost Story. Enterbay also brought Tony Montana from Scarface to twelve-inch form.
[Kaustic Plastik](/manufacturer/kaustic-plastik), which works with Infinite Statue, specialises in screen classics other makers pass over: Rooster Cogburn from True Grit, Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks, the Fonz from Happy Days, Frank Dux from Bloodsport and tributes to [Toshiro Mifune](/character/toshiro-mifune) and [John Wayne](/character/john-wayne). [Blackbox Toys](/manufacturer/blackbox-toys) has made [Travis Bickle](/character/travis-bickle) from Taxi Driver and Jack Dawson from Titanic, [DamToys](/manufacturer/damtoys) made Vito Corleone from The Godfather, and Sideshow and Snake Toys have both taken on [Harry Callahan](/character/harry-callahan) from Dirty Harry.
Collectors on this shelf are usually film people first. The likeness is everything, because the figure only works if it looks like the actor in that one role, wearing that one costume. For many of these roles, a twelve-inch figure from a small specialist is the only way to put them on a shelf at all.

MOVIES & TV & THE SIXTH SCALE
This is the cinema of singletons: the wing for pictures and performances too singular to fill a franchise page of their own, filed together the way a great video shop shelved its classics. One hundred and twenty-seven figures, ninety-five characters, and thirty-four different makers, the longest maker tail of any wing on the site, because one-masterpiece licenses attract one-masterpiece specialists.
Its records also reach back to 2007, making it one of the oldest wings in the building. Cult cinema was sixth-scale before sixth-scale was cool.
THE KING IS BRUCE
The wing's most-honored face is Bruce Lee at nine figures, most from Enterbay, the house that leads the wing with twenty and built its name on master-grade likenesses. Around him stand the masters and icons of the singleton shelf: Toshiro Mifune, Wong Fei-Hung, Dirty Harry's Harry Callahan, and yes, Jack Dawson of Titanic, each at three.
Kaustic Plastik runs its cult-tribute engine here, Pop Toys files eighteen, and DamToys adds fourteen, mostly the film likenesses too specific to call Military.
HOW A FILM LEAVES THIS WING
The border rule is simple and a little brutal: a film lives here until its shelf grows deep enough to earn a franchise page of its own, at which point it moves out and takes its figures with it. This wing is the waiting room of the canon.
Which means browsing it rewards the collector with taste for the specific: the one perfect figure of the one perfect film. Some pictures only need one.
