The fellahin still whisper about the night the desert gave a dead man back. Marc Spector, mercenary, killer for hire, son of a rabbi who ran from everything holy, bled out at the feet of a forgotten idol after his own commander gunned down an innocent dig crew under an Egyptian moon. What stood up wasn't quite Marc anymore. Khonshu, the old god of the moon and vengeance, had made him an offer no dying man refuses: rise as my avatar, my fist, my knight. Wear the silver of the moonlight. Protect those who travel at night.
He came home wearing white so the guilty would see him coming, and he came home plural. The millionaire Steven Grant buys what the mission needs; cabbie Jake Lockley hears what the streets won't tell a rich man; Mr. Knight consults, immaculate, on cases the police can't hold. Whether the bird-skulled god is real or just the loudest voice in a crowded head, the vengeance is real enough. Ask anyone who hurt a traveler after dark.

Moon Knight debuted as a one-night antagonist in Werewolf by Night #32 (1975), a silver-cloaked bounty hunter from writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin, hired to catch the werewolf and too striking to throw away. Moench brought him back as a hero, and the 1980 solo series with artist Bill Sienkiewicz turned the alleged Batman riff into something stranger and sadder, a vigilante whose spare identities began as cover stories and deepened, decade by decade, into a genuine portrait of dissociative identity disorder. Every era reinvents him: Charlie Huston and David Finch dragged him through a brutal comeback in 2006, Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey tailored the white-suited Mr. Knight in 2014, Jeff Lemire and Greg Smallwood rebuilt him from an asylum outward in 2016, and Jed MacKay opened the Midnight Mission in 2021. Then Oscar Isaac carried the Disney+ series in 2022, opposite Ethan Hawke and F. Murray Abraham's imperious Khonshu, and the cult favorite went mainstream.
IN SIXTH SCALE
Sixth scale was always going to love a man who dresses like a verdict. Hot Toys answered the Disney+ series with both faces of the system: the cowled Moon Knight wrapped in sculpted bandage-armor that catches light the way the show's suit caught moonlight, and the immaculate Mr. Knight in his three-piece white suit and porcelain mask, crescent darts fanned like a card trick. And because the white suit belongs on more shelves than one license can reach, SooSooToys took its own unlicensed swing at the look for collectors who like their vigilantes a little off the books. On a Marvel shelf he is pure contrast: park him next to your reds and golds and watch the eye go straight to the white. Other figures hide in a crowded display. This one wants to be seen coming.
