SooSooToys has positioned itself as the manufacturer for the characters mainstream brands consider too niche, too dark, or too creature-heavy to licence. Where Hot Toys stays close to the box office and InArt pursues cinematic prestige, SooSooToys goes after the things collectors want that no one else is making: Predators, horror figures, dark fantasy characters, monsters, and a substantial run of coded Marvel figures.

Their Predator variants in particular have become collector favourites in their own right, not as consolation prizes for what Hot Toys won't make but as legitimately impressive pieces. The creature engineering involved in a proper Predator, from the mandibles to the netting to the dreadlocks and armour pieces, is actually a harder problem than a human figure in a suit, and SooSooToys has worked through those challenges across multiple releases.
