Starcraft Figures

StarCraft is Blizzard Entertainment's real-time strategy series, first released in 1998 and set in the Koprulu Sector, a distant corner of the galaxy in the 25th century, where the human Terrans, the Zerg and the Protoss fight over the stars. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty followed in 2010. Its hero is Jim Raynor, a Terran commander who deserted Arcturus Mengsk's Dominion after Mengsk sacrificed Sarah Kerrigan to the Zerg, and who leads the rebels of Raynor's Raiders. StarCraft II also gave the series Tychus Findlay, a Terran marine with a cigar never far away.

[Sideshow](/manufacturer/sideshow) brought both men into sixth scale in Terran Space Marine armor, and they are big. [Jim Raynor](/character/jim-raynor) comes with a removable helmet, two portraits, a C-14 Gauss rifle, a sniper rifle and his revolver. [Tychus Findlay](/character/tychus-findlay), announced in 2015, is built from more than 525 parts, stands about 39 cm tall, and has light-up features, a light-up C-14 Impaler Gauss rifle, flash grenades and two portraits, one scowling and one enjoying a cigar. A Blizzard employee-only version of Tychus was also made.

These are some of the bulkiest figures in the hobby, closer to small vehicles than to dressed figures, and collectors treat them that way: they want the armor's paint and decals clean, the lights working, and plenty of space on the shelf.
