That is usually the point where an institution tells you who is speaking.
We appear to have skipped that part for several months.
Almost every day, a voice turns up in the Courtyard with some news from around the Keep. A figure arrived. A door opened. Somebody moved the Radio again.
You know the voice.
You are reading it now.
Where it comes from, who keeps leaving it here, and why it knows quite so much about what happens behind closed doors remain excellent questions.
Rather than answer any of them, the Keep has made the whole arrangement official.
These daily dispatches are now THE KEEP’S NOTICE. 📜
Proper parchment. The day’s word. A quote at the top. The seal at the bottom. And when the day is finished, the Notice takes its place in the Daybook with everything else the Keep decided was worth remembering.
