THE LEGEND
Cain Marko was a soldier stationed in Korea when he found a hidden temple dedicated to Cyttorak and laid his hands on a huge ruby inside it. The gem poured that strange god's power into him and turned him into something closer to a force of nature than a man. Once he starts moving, nothing is supposed to be able to stop him, and as Cyttorak's avatar he is, for all practical purposes, immortal.
He wears a helmet that shields his mind from telepaths, and that matters, because the telepath he has the most history with is family. Cain's father married the mother of Charles Xavier, making the two boys stepbrothers, and the resentment Cain carried toward his stepbrother never really cooled. Xavier went on to found the X-Men. Cain went on to charge at them, usually straight through whatever wall happened to be in the way. Subtlety has never been part of the deal. He is the problem you cannot outfight, only outlast or redirect.
OFF THE PAGE
Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created the Juggernaut for The X-Men #12, cover dated July 1965, giving the team a villain who could not be out-punched. Tying him to Professor X as a stepbrother made every fight a family argument, and the red armour with its domed helmet became one of Marvel's most recognisable silhouettes.
He found a second life online. A 2006 fan parody built from an episode of X-Men: The Animated Series gave him the line 'I'm the Juggernaut', followed by a word we will leave out, and it travelled far enough that X-Men: The Last Stand referenced it. Vinnie Jones played him in that 2006 film, as a mutant with no gem and no link to Xavier. In Deadpool 2 (2018) he came back as a towering CGI creation, with Ryan Reynolds supplying both the voice and the motion capture, and an alternate-timeline version turned up in Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024. Each new version has been bigger than the last.
IN SIXTH SCALE
The Juggernaut is a hard sell in sixth scale for the simplest reason: he is meant to be enormous, and a twelve-inch body cannot do that. The versions in the Archive come from Toys Era, a maker that sells coded figures and calls him 'The Tank'. Its first version follows the CGI giant from Deadpool 2, a natural sparring partner for anyone's Deadpool. The follow-up, 'Unstoppable Tank', takes the Vinnie Jones look from X-Men: The Last Stand, with the red suit and the domed helmet.
Both are built on oversized custom bodies around 49 centimetres tall, so a standard 1/6 figure has to look up at him, which is the whole point. Collectors treat him as a centrepiece more than a shelf filler: he needs his own space, a sturdy stand and a shelf that can take the weight. He pairs well with Wolverine, with Professor X for the family feud, and with the wider Marvel shelf. These are fan tributes, not officially licensed figures.
