Cyberpunk Figures
12 sixth-scale figures across 3 manufacturers
Cyberpunk is Mike Pondsmith's tabletop role-playing game, first published by R. Talsorian Games in 1988: a future of corporate city-states, street mercenaries and bodies laced with chrome. Its best-known corner is Night City, a fictional city in California, and the universe reached most people through two screens. CD Projekt Red's game Cyberpunk 2077 arrived in December 2020, putting you behind the eyes of V, who carries an unwelcome passenger: the digital engram of Johnny Silverhand, a rocker turned terrorist played by Keanu Reeves. Then in 2022 Studio Trigger's anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners told a separate Night City story on Netflix, following David Martinez, a student who turns edgerunner, Lucy, a netrunner who dreams of the Moon, and Rebecca, the squad's unpredictable shooter.
The game reached sixth scale through PureArts, which made V as both a male and a female figure, with Kiroshi optics, a leather jacket with an LED-lit collar and, for the male version, a Mantis blade arm. PureArts also built a die-cast 1/6 replica of V's Yaiba Kusanagi motorbike, sold in bundles with the figures. Hot Toys added Johnny Silverhand to its Video Game Masterpiece range with Reeves' likeness, the cybernetic arm, the Malorian pistol and a guitar. ThreeZero brought Edgerunners to its FigZero line: Lucy first, then David Martinez on a new torso made to show his Sandevistan, and Rebecca after them, announced for 2027 with rolling eyes and ball-jointed ponytails.
Cyberpunk collectors care about the chrome. Implants, glowing optics and lighting effects are what make these figures read as Night City, and the game's characters and the anime's sit together better than you might expect.
