PureArts

PureArts is a Montreal company founded in 2008 by artist and collector Hugues Martel, with design and production managed in-house across offices in Canada and China. In a hobby full of anonymous studios, they are a rarity: a fully licensed, corporately visible maker focused on video games.

The licence roster tells the story. Ubisoft for Assassin's Creed, their flagship property, plus CD Projekt Red for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher, Warner Bros, and more. Their Cyberpunk 1/6 line gave the game's mercs and fixers a level of figure treatment usually reserved for film characters, and their quarter-scale Animus statues sit at the ultra-premium end of game collecting.

For the Archive their 1/6 output is the focus: officially licensed game characters with real fabric and full accessory suites, distributed through mainstream channels rather than gray-market importers. A legitimate licensed house working territory the film-focused brands mostly ignore.
