Original Figures
233 sixth-scale figures across 33 manufacturers
Every licensed figure starts with someone else's character. The Original shelf is where sixth scale makers start with their own. These are invented heroes, villains and whole small universes, designed by the studio that sculpts them, with no film or comic behind them. Freed from a likeness to match, makers use them to show what they can do with sculpting, tailoring and engineering.
[DamToys](/manufacturer/damtoys), best known for its research-heavy soldiers, has built entire casts of its own here: the sharp-suited mobsters of Gangsters Kingdom and the card-themed fighters of Poker Kingdom. [Devil Toys](/manufacturer/devil-toys) runs the Bulletpunk Universe, home of the [Ghost of Kurosawa](/character/ghost-of-kurosawa), alongside its War of Order line. [TBLeague](/manufacturer/tbleague) fills the shelf with armoured fantasy figures such as the Knight of Fire and the Saintess Knight.
The smaller studios give the shelf its range. [Black 13 Park](/manufacturer/black-13-park) makes creatures of its own design, [i8 Toys](/manufacturer/i8-toys) has its Meow Squad, [Longshan Heavy Industry](/manufacturer/longshan-heavy-industry) arms nuns for night battles, and [CooModel](/manufacturer/coomodel) turns its armour-making skills to fantasy suits of its own invention. [Super Duck](/manufacturer/super-duck), [JND Studios](/manufacturer/jnd-studios) and [Art Figures](/manufacturer/art-figures) add schoolgirls, concept-art heroines and an idol called AIDOL.
Collectors come to originals for different reasons than they come to licences. There is no actor's face to judge the sculpt against, so the figure is judged on its own design, its finish and the story the maker builds around it. Many of these lines run as connected series, with new characters joining a world over time, and collectors follow a studio's universe the way others follow a franchise. Browse the [franchise index](/franchises) to see the makers' licensed work beside their own.

ORIGINAL & THE SIXTH SCALE
Every other wing of this Archive documents somebody else's stories. This one documents the makers' own. One hundred and fifty-four figures live here across one hundred and thirteen distinct characters, which is the wildest ratio on the site: nearly every figure is a brand-new face, invented by a studio with no license to lean on and nothing to copy.
This is where the industry auditions its imagination, and the Archive takes the records seriously precisely because nobody else keeps them. There is no wiki for these characters. This page is the wiki.
AUTHORS, NOT LICENSEES
Twenty-two houses publish original work here. DamToys leads with thirty-eight, including the wing's most-depicted creation, the Ghost of Kurosawa at four figures. TBLeague contributes thirty-three originals alongside its mythology work, and Devil Toys files twenty-two from its self-built Bulletpunk universe, a world with its own factions, timeline and grudges.
Underverse, CooModel and Super Duck each add eight, and the long tail behind them is where some of the strangest, best sculpting on the site hides.
WHY COLLECTORS COME HERE
An original figure is a pure bet on craft: no character loyalty softens the judgment, so the sculpt, tailoring and concept carry everything. The wing runs from 2013 to preorders dated 2027, and its knights, ghosts, goddesses and gunfighters answer to no studio notes.
Somewhere in this wing is a future classic that does not know it yet. That is rather the fun of it.
