JND Studios

JND Studios, founded in South Korea in 2019, operates at the absolute top of the market, making what are widely considered the most realistic character likenesses money can buy. Medical-grade silicone skin, glass eyes, individually punched hair, and prices that treat four figures as a starting point.

For sixth-scale collectors the key line is Kojun Works, named for the face sculptor KOJUN, which brings the hyperreal statue treatment to articulated 1/6 figures using patented construction: joints hidden beneath silicone skin and magnetically controlled eyes, so the figure photographs like a statue but poses like a figure. The Dark Knight Joker is the flagship, with John Wick close behind.

Their licence roster is fully official, spanning DC, John Wick, Harry Potter, and beyond, with real actor likenesses attached. In collector conversation JND functions as the realism benchmark: the standard against which every other premium likeness, Hot Toys included, gets measured.
