The Boys Figures
15 sixth-scale figures across 4 manufacturers
The Boys started as a comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson in 2006, launched at WildStorm and finished at Dynamite Entertainment in 2012. Its superheroes are corporate products, bred and managed by Vought, and its heroes are the small, foul-mouthed team led by Billy Butcher that tries to bring them down. Eric Kripke's Amazon Prime Video series, from 2019, made Antony Starr's Homelander, the smiling, psychopathic leader of the Seven, the face of the show.
The officially licensed sixth scale line comes from [Star Ace Toys](/manufacturer/star-ace-toys). Its [Homelander](/character/homelander) carries Starr's likeness on a seamless body developed with TBLeague, with a milk bottle, a photo album and a vial of Compound V among the extras, and a deluxe version adding a second, smiling portrait. Star Ace also made a light-up Vought display base, plus Billy Butcher, [Starlight](/character/starlight) and Queen Maeve. [SooSooToys](/manufacturer/soosootoys) has its own takes on Homelander, Butcher, Starlight and [Soldier Boy](/character/soldier-boy). [Toys Era](/manufacturer/toys-era) works in coded form, with a Homelander sold as "The Sigma" and a Soldier Boy, and [Toys Battalion](/manufacturer/toys-battalion) made a [Black Noir](/character/black-noir).
For a show about supes who live on camera, the portrait is everything. Collectors compare how each maker catches Homelander's smile, how the capes hang and how the Vought-perfect costumes are finished, and many give the Seven a shelf that looks like a press call.
