Star Ace Toys has built a catalogue around a simple insight: there are beloved properties from classic cinema that the modern premium brands won't touch because they're not part of an active IP portfolio, but whose fanbases would buy serious collectibles immediately if they were made. Star Ace makes them.

Their Rocky series, multiple fighters across multiple films with ring bases and period-accurate gear, is the kind of licence that requires someone to care about the films as films, not just as IP to extract value from. Their Wizard of Oz figures, their Back to the Future work, their classic horror pieces from the Universal Monsters era: all of them serve collectors who grew up with these properties and want something worth putting in a case.

Build quality is reliably solid without reaching the absolute premium tier. Star Ace figures aren't the most technically impressive pieces in the hobby, but they're consistently well-constructed and they're often the only way to own a definitive 1/6 version of a character you've wanted for a long time. That counts for a lot.
