THE STORY
AmiAmi is a Japan-based hobby retailer founded in December 1999, operating out of Tokyo with physical storefronts in Akihabara (opened 2016, expanded into the AmiAmi Figure Tower in 2024) and Ikebukuro. It stocks over 100,000 items spanning anime figures, model kits, and collectibles, and ships internationally via Japan Post, EMS, and DHL. AmiAmi accepts PayPal and credit card payment; PayPal cannot be used for age-restricted items. Pre-payment is not required to hold most pre-orders, though AmiAmi may request upfront payment for large, high-priced, or made-to-order items, and full payment is due within seven days of invoicing.
