EXO-6 entered the market around 2020 with an unusually sharp and self-limiting focus: Star Trek, exclusively. Every figure they make is from the Trek universe, and that commitment to a single property has let them develop a genuine expertise that broader manufacturers can't match when they cover 50 licences at once.
The result shows in the details. Uniform delta shield embroidery done properly. Communicators and tricorders that match the exact episode-specific prop versions. Headsculpts that nail the specific look of each actor at the age they filmed their most iconic scenes, which for Trek means Shatner in his mid-30s, not a generalised approximation. Trek collectors, who spent decades with no serious 1/6 options, took notice immediately.
EXO-6 figures have expanded through multiple series and crews (TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Picard), responding to demand with a catalogue depth that suggests they understand their audience is not casual. The collector who cares enough about Trek to spend $200 on a figure also cares enough to notice if the tricorder is the wrong model for the episode. EXO-6 gets that.
