THE STORY

BigBadToyStore is a US-based online retailer of action figures, statues, and collectibles founded in fall 1999 by brothers Joel and Dan Boblit, who started out reselling vintage Transformers on eBay before launching their own storefront. The company is headquartered in a roughly 120,000-square-foot warehouse in Somerset, Wisconsin, and ships worldwide. It carries licensed and third-party sixth-scale figures from a very wide roster of manufacturers alongside bodies, accessories, and other scales. Its "Pile of Loot" service lets customers combine multiple orders into a single shipment. Pre-orders generally require no payment until the item arrives at BBTS's warehouse, though some high-cost or made-to-order items require a non-refundable deposit at checkout.
