Mondo is an Austin, Texas company that began as a limited-edition movie poster publisher and built one of the most respected brand identities in cult film culture before expanding into collectibles. Their figures carry the same aesthetic sensibility that made their posters famous: strong editorial taste, properties chosen because someone at Mondo loves them rather than because they have an active film in cinemas, and execution that treats each release as an object worth caring about.

Their 1/6 work covers Universal Monsters, science fiction classics, horror properties, a substantial stylized Marvel line, and the kind of cult-adjacent licences that larger manufacturers wouldn't consider commercially viable. A Bride of Frankenstein figure from Mondo is a different kind of object from a Hot Toys Iron Man. Both are well-made, but the Mondo piece exists because someone thought it deserved to exist, not because there's a film to market.

Mondo figures attract collectors who think about what they own in a slightly different way: not just the character or the franchise, but the specific vision being executed on this specific object.
