Reset Studio

Reset Studio makes sixth scale figures of basketball players and numbers them by player, with codes such as RS-LB for LeBron and RS-KI for Kyrie. The Sports shelf is the whole catalogue, and the NBA is most of it.

LeBron James is the studio's anchor, with more than one edition along the way, a sensible choice for a player whose career has had more chapters than most. Around him stands a roster of stars from the modern game: Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, Luka Dončić, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Brunson and Victor Wembanyama. Football gets a look in too, with Kylian Mbappé in World Cup colours.

Basketball figures live or die on two things. The first is the likeness, because fans know these faces from close-ups on every broadcast. The second is proportion. Wembanyama has to tower over Brunson the way he does on court, and a set of figures that all stand the same height gives the game away.

Reset Studio sits in a small corner of the hobby beside AOM, which also makes NBA players, and the Real Masterpiece line from Enterbay. Many collectors in this corner follow a team or a player across makers, so check the heights before you shelve them together, and use the RS codes to keep track of which LeBron is which.
