Myths & Legends Figures
126 sixth-scale figures across 13 manufacturers
Gods, monsters and heroes belong to everyone. The Myths & Legends shelf gathers sixth scale figures drawn from world mythology and folklore: the Egyptian pantheon, Greek and Hindu gods, Chinese myth and legend, and the knights of Arthurian romance. With no studio or rights holder setting the look, every maker brings its own reading of figures people have been depicting for thousands of years.
[TBLeague](/manufacturer/tbleague) defines this shelf. Its Egyptian line is the deepest in the Archive, with [Horus](/character/horus), [Anubis](/character/anubis), [Osiris](/character/osiris), Isis, Sobek and pharaohs such as Ramesses II and Tutankhamun, often with thrones, scales and other display pieces. TBLeague also covers Greek myth with [Medusa](/character/medusa), Amazon warriors and Spartan commanders, Hindu myth with [Shiva](/character/shiva), and Chinese myth and folklore with Daji, Lei Zhenzi and [Hua Mulan](/character/hua-mulan). Its seamless bodies suit gods drawn as idealised, sculpted forms.
Other makers add their own corners. [Haoyu Toys](/manufacturer/haoyu-toys) and [303 Toys](/manufacturer/303-toys) bring their armour and costume work to mythic subjects, and [Pop Costume](/manufacturer/pop-costume) has made [Sir Galahad](/character/sir-galahad), the Arthurian knight who achieves the Holy Grail and the only one able to sit safely in the Siege Perilous. China's great pilgrimage myth has its own page at [Journey to the West](/franchise/journey-to-the-west).
Collectors here care about craft and spectacle more than likeness. Gold, jewellery, headdresses and weapons carry these figures, and the best releases come with bases or set pieces that turn a single figure into a scene. Many collectors build a pantheon one god at a time.

MYTHS & LEGENDS & THE SIXTH SCALE
Humanity's first franchise has no rights holder, no reboot schedule and no canon disputes anyone can settle, which makes it perfect material for figure makers: the license expired several thousand years ago. This wing holds one hundred and sixty-seven figures of gods, monsters, sages and heroes across ninety-two characters, drawn from every mythology a sculptor ever fell in love with.
The census says the old stories are doing fine: fifteen houses work this wing, and its shelves span Egypt, Olympus, the Journey to the West and the courts of Chinese heaven.
THE PANTHEON ENGINE
One maker built most of this temple: TBLeague, with one hundred and two figures here, and its Egyptian wing alone runs forty-three deep, Horus and Anubis in multiple tellings, Ramesses II enthroned, an entire dynasty of gods rendered on the seamless bodies the house is famous for. Greek mythology answers with eighteen figures led by a six-strong line of Spartan commanders.
Filed among the real mythologies sits one invented on purpose: Sideshow's Court of the Dead, five figures of a mythology built by a modern studio, which this Archive shelves here without embarrassment. Every legend was new once.
EAST OF OLYMPUS
The wing's most-depicted being is Sun Wukong, fourteen figures of the Monkey King and counting, with the wider Journey to the West at twenty and the Investiture of the Gods close behind. The houses of 303 Toys, Haoyu Toys, Inflame Toys and VeryCool have made the Chinese canon the fastest-growing shelf in the wing.
One border note: a god with an IP passport lives with the IP. Thor files under Marvel. The Thor who never signed with anyone files here.
