General's Armoury

General's Armoury makes sixth scale figures of soldiers and special operators from games and films, numbered in a GA series. Its figures go out under code-name titles drawn from the source rather than character names, which suits subjects who mostly go by call signs anyway.

Call of Duty is the core. GA1008, sold as Bravo 0-6 Countdown, is John Price of Modern Warfare, the SAS captain who leads Bravo Six; GA1009, Bravo 7-1 Kill or Capture, follows in the same series. Simon Riley, better known as Ghost, joins him. Kit is everything with these characters, and players know it by heart, so look closely at the plate carriers, pouches, sidearms and rifles: they should be recognisable at a glance.

Resident Evil adds HUNK, the Umbrella special forces operative who survives everything. From film comes Respawn Soldier, William Cage of Edge of Tomorrow, the officer who relives the same battle until he gets it right. Eternal Toys has made its own Cage, so the two can be compared directly.

Collectors of this kind of figure tend to come from the modern Military shelf, and they judge the same way: the right carrier, the right camouflage, the right weapon. Because the titles are code names, check the GA number on any listing, and watch for loose parts sold separately, since operator kit is often parted out.
